What data we process
Catita only processes what its features need. Depending on what each server uses, it stores:
- Discord identifiers (of people, servers, channels, roles and messages).
- Activity for levels and streaks: XP, level, rebirths, the time of your last message, voice activity, reaction and command, and your AFK status with its reason.
- Economy and games: balances, inventory, farm, aquarium, market listings and transaction history.
- Clans: which one you belong to, your rank and your points.
- Moderation: cases and warnings (person, moderator, reason, duration and date).
- Highlights: which messages were highlighted, their author and who voted.
- Tickets: their details (who opened, handled and closed them, answers and dates) and, when deleted, the transcript, which includes message content, names, avatars and links to attachments. Attachments are not copied.
- Music: the playlists you save and, while it plays, the queue.
- Profile and preferences: your bio, interaction counters (hugs, pats…), custom roles, voice channels you create, and your notification and Showcase settings.
- Daily usage statistics: which commands are used and which people and servers used the bot that day.
- Technical error logs, which may include identifiers.
Catita reads message content (with Discord's Message Content permission) for prefix commands, XP and each server's features. It does not store messages, except in ticket transcripts.
How we use it
To provide the features your server enables, keep the service safe and stable, prevent abuse and fix bugs. We do not sell data, use it for advertising or use it to train AI models.
The legal basis is our legitimate interest in providing the service you request by using Catita and, where the law requires it, your consent.
Who we share it with
- Discord, where Catita runs.
- For music, searches and songs are requested from YouTube, Spotify, Apple Music, SoundCloud and LRCLIB (lyrics). Only what you search for is sent, not your account data.
- Infrastructure providers that host the bot, its database and this website (including Cloudflare).
We may also share data when the law requires it.
How long
Data is kept for as long as the feature that uses it needs it. Clan invites and scheduled tasks are deleted automatically; the music queue is deleted when playback ends.
When Catita is removed from a server, its data is deleted automatically after 30 days. If she comes back sooner, nothing is deleted. It is also deleted when someone with administrator permission on the server asks for it.
Ticket transcripts are deleted automatically after 180 days, or sooner if the server or the person concerned asks.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, or object to its processing, by emailing legal@catita.gg from an account or with details that let us confirm it is you. We reply within a reasonable time and no later than the applicable law requires.
You can choose which DM notices you get with the /notifications command.
Security
Data is stored on servers with restricted access. Transcripts have long random links that cannot be guessed, and their pages are not indexed by search engines. No system is perfect, but if an issue affects you, we will tell you as the law requires.
Children
Catita is meant for people who meet Discord's minimum age in their country. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under that age.
This website
catita.gg does not use cookies or trackers. It only stores the language you pick in your browser. Cloudflare may log technical visit data (such as your IP) to serve and protect the site.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page with its date.
